About This Video

Hey guys—Chad with Pure Media Systems. In this project we’re out in McKinney, Texas doing a clean, quick install with a 75-inch Samsung The Frame TV paired with a Sonos Amp and existing Klipsch in-ceiling speakers. Originally this room was headed toward a MantelMount MM750 over the fireplace (we do a ton of those), but we reoriented the layout and put The Frame on the main wall where it fits nicely between the switches and keeps the room looking sharp. The big win here is premium sound and a high-end TV look with minimal impact on aesthetics. The previous owner already had four Klipsch in-ceiling speakers installed, so we utilized what was there and powered everything with a Sonos Amp. We tucked the Sonos Amp and the Samsung One Connect box into a nearby cabinet, ran our wall plates and cabling, and kept the front wall super clean—then it’s as simple as shutting the TV off and letting Art Mode display your picture. From the SmartThings app you can upload your own photos, pull artwork from Samsung’s store, or even load images via USB on the One Connect box, plus you’ve got settings like night mode and timeouts to dial it in.
