Hey guys, this is Chad with Pure Media Systems. In this video I’m out in Castle Hills (Lewisville/North Texas area) doing a full theater room install plus a little Control4 smart home integration. This room was a bit interesting because it’s below a second story and it was pre-wired in a way that makes adding new cable runs tough right now—so we built the best system we could around what was already there, with the option to expand in a future phase. I walk through the gear as we unbox and install everything: a Denon AVR-X3700H powering a 5.1.2-style setup with Klipsch RP-8000F (Version 2) towers, an RP-504C center, a Klipsch SPL-120 sub, and four in-ceiling speakers aimed toward the main seating. For video, we mounted a JVC DLA-RS1100 (lamp-based, but still HDMI 2.1 capable) feeding a 120” Sieverson Cinema White screen, using a Clearline 48Gbps fiber HDMI to keep the signal solid. Then I demo how Control4 (Core 1 + SR-260) makes it easy—one remote for Fire TV, PlayStation, Xbox, plus custom lighting scene buttons for gaming, pause, and a master toggle.
