About This Video

Hey guys, Chad with Pure Media Systems. In this video I’m out in Prosper, Texas building a full Dolby Atmos media room from the ground up—speaker layout, projector, control, and a full demo at the end. The room was pre-wired, but it was originally set up to land everything at the front where a TV used to be (you can literally see the imprint in the carpet). We rewired the entire room so all the wiring and gear terminate cleanly in a closet, which makes service, airflow, and future upgrades way easier. For audio we staged a full Klipsch system: PRO-250RPW LCRs up front with an RP-640D center under the screen, PRO-25RW LCRs for surrounds, and in-ceiling Atmos (designer series). Everything is powered by the Integra DRX 3.4, and for low end we dropped in Klipsch’s big 16-inch RP-1600SW—this thing rocks. On the video side we installed a Sony VPL-XW5000ES native 4K laser projector on a 120-inch Screen Innovations Cinema White (IMAX-style material). Then I tied it all together with Control4 Core Lite, a Halo remote, and Control4 contemporary adaptive phase dimmers so the customer can run sources and lighting with simple custom buttons—then we roll a Dolby Atmos demo so you can hear it in action.
