In this video I build what I genuinely think is the perfect DJI Osmo Pocket 3 vlogging setup using 8 SmallRig accessories I hand picked. I start with the new SmallRig cage, because without a cage the Pocket 3 is just a Pocket 3—once it’s caged up you suddenly get loads of mounting options (1/4 threads on the sides, hot shoe, and my favourite bit: the magnetic GoPro-style mount on the back). It’s also super quick to get on and off—like a little jacket—with a really satisfying click when it locks. From there I add the carbon fibre travel tripod (compact, fluid head for panning, and I’ll be using it every day—my only gripe is you need an Allen key to tighten it). I show how the crab-shaped clamp lets you mount the Pocket 3 basically anywhere when you don’t have a stable surface, and I pair that with the S60 wireless mic setup so you’re not stuck standing next to the camera. I also run through the RGB mini light for low light (and even daylight fill), the magnetic filter kit (great, but fiddly and the variable ND is a bit loose), a compact hard case for travel, and a desk magic arm I use for webcam/Zoom calls. শেষে I point you to my Pocket 3 cinematic settings video if you want to level up your image.
