This is a very different one for my channel, and honestly it’s probably the hardest video I’ve had to make. In this update I explain why I’m pausing Pulse8 Reviews for a bit instead of just disappearing. The short version: my actual day job is Pulse 8 Video Production, and it’s got seriously busy. On top of that, my editor Rob—who’s been with me for five years—has moved on, so right now it’s just me trying to juggle client work, hiring a new editor, and the full YouTube workload (ideas, filming, thumbnails, reviews… the lot). I also wanted to say a genuine thank you. This channel is only a year old, and the support has been way beyond what I expected—monetisation, brands reaching out, and loads of great conversations in the comments and even on calls. I’m not shutting the channel down; it’s just a pause while I give the business my full attention. The plan is to be back in around two to three months max with more real-world gear reviews (I’ve got a ton of ideas, and yeah… I’d love to get my hands on stuff like the new Mavic). If you want to follow what I’m building next, I’ve also started a new channel called The Pro Cast, focused more on helping small businesses get on camera and use video properly.
