About This Video

In this video I put the Zhiyun WEEBILL 3S through a proper look-over and answer the big question: is it actually one of the best gimbal stabilizers for your videos? First up, it’s genuinely the most comfortable gimbal I’ve ever used, and that’s mainly down to the wrist support and the sling/handle setup. I was skeptical at first and thought it might be a gimmick, but in real use it takes the strain off your wrist—especially with a heavier setup (my camera and lens combo is around 1.2kg). It’s just a really well thought-out design. Feature-wise, I cover how quickly you can swap between native landscape and portrait (ideal if you’re shooting Shorts, TikTok, Instagram), plus the built-in light which is seriously bright and lets you dial in both brightness and colour temperature (roughly 2000K up to 8800K). Zhiyun also added Bluetooth shutter control, but I’m honest about it: it takes a bit of setup and I’d personally rather just plug a cable in. I also talk about how smooth and quiet the 10th-generation stabilisation feels straight out of the box, battery life (around 11.5 hours), and the one improvement I’d love to see next time: an auto-lock system instead of manual locks. Finally, I break down the combo edition vs standard pricing and why that extra handle/plate can be a bit of a game changer at this price point.
