About This Video

In this video I’m basically asking the uncomfortable question: are you wasting money on the wrong camera bag? I’m a bit obsessed with bags (I’ve got loads), so when K&F reached out, I instantly asked for a backpack—and I picked the Alpha Backpack 25L. As always, this is my own opinion and I only review stuff I’ll actually use… and I’ve actually used this one. I break down what it’s like in the real world: the rigid, carbon-texture shell that feels like it can take a proper bashing, the “urban” look (more clean city vibe than rugged mud-and-mountains), and the genuinely useful anti-theft straps when you’re in a busy city. I also talk capacity and access: it’s designed to carry two cameras, multiple lenses, laptop/tablet, tripod, and it’s customisable inside so you can change the layout depending on your kit. The surprise is the value—£300 full price isn’t cheap, but it’s not crazy for what you get, and when it’s on sale (I saw it around £140 while filming) it’s an absolute bargain. My only real concern is long-term durability of the plastic section on the front strap/buckle area—time will tell. Overall, I think it’s almost perfect, especially if you want one bag that can do a bit of everything.
