Here’s how I take the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 up to cinematic levels without getting super nerdy about it. In this video I run through five practical upgrades/setups I actually use in the real world—stuff that gives you more control, better angles, and cleaner-looking motion. The big theme is simple: add stability, monitor properly, control your light, and start thinking in “interesting angles” instead of boring head-height shots. I start with my most built-out rig: dual side handles for extra weight and control, my tripod on the bottom, and—because that Pocket 3 screen does my head in—my phone as a bigger monitor using a magnetic mount so I can go landscape or portrait. I also explain why I’ll even run a small light outside (catch light in the eyes) and why an ND filter is non-negotiable if you want proper motion blur. From there I show a selfie stick setup for high/low creative shots, then the Tilta Hydra Alien Mini for vehicle/chase-style shots by taking out vibrations.
