If your dog is obsessed with fishy treats, these salmon crisps are about to be your new go-to. I like to think of them as little “fish chips” because it’s literally just canned salmon flakes baked until they’re super crunchy. This is a single-ingredient dog treat that’s so easy I honestly don’t even know if we can call it a recipe—this is more of a dog treat idea with about 5 minutes of prep. In the video, I show you exactly how I make them: preheat your oven to 400°F, use one plain can of salmon (no flavors, no extra salt—ideally skinless and boneless), drain it well, and press little flakes flat with a paper towel to pull out as much moisture as possible. Then you bake them on a parchment-lined sheet for about 20 minutes. They aren’t the prettiest treats (and that’s totally fine), but the crunch is real—and my dogs absolutely love them. For storage, I keep them in an airtight container in the fridge for several days since there are no preservatives.
