Today I’m testing out the brand new Furbo 360 dog camera, and I’ve gotta say… WOW, I’m impressed. If you’re a dog parent who’s ever been out at work or out to dinner and just wanted to check in on your fur kids, this upgrade is a big deal. The wide-angle lens now rotates a full 360º, so it’s not a stationary camera anymore. I keep mine on a pedestal near my bookshelf, and I can pan around to see everything from the staircase to the living room, kitchen, parts of my sunroom, and even the dog couch (which is basically just there for show because my pups prefer the regular couch). My favorite part is how the rotating view plus auto dog tracking keeps your dog in frame as they move around—less blind spots means less worry. You also get 1080p Full HD, 4x zoom (perfect for those “what are you chewing?!” moments), and real-time two-way audio with adjustable volume in the app. Furbo also sends smart alerts (barking, crying, activity, and more), and the new color night vision keeps the picture clear even when it gets dark. And of course, the treat toss is still the most fun—especially when I load it up with little pieces of my homemade biscuits.
