As we creep closer to Fall, I'm excited to say Pumpkin Spice Latte season is among us! While our canine companions can't share licks of our PSLs, we can easily whip up a doggy version for them. Not only is this Pumpkin Latte Dog Treat Recipe downright adorable, but it also touts digestion-aiding nutrients (such as probiotics and fiber). INGREDIENT LINKS: The Honest Kitchen Instant Goat's Milk: https://amzn.to/3QzPtcM NOTES: - Make sure to use 100% Pure Pumpkin Puree (NOT Pumpkin Pie Filling) - If using whipped cream, check the ingredient label to ensure it doesn't include xylitol - While cinnamon is safe for dogs, do not replace with pumpkin pie spice (as it's not good for dogs) - While I'm calling this a latte, this dog treat recipe does not include any coffee or caffeine. Do not add any, as it's not good for dogs. About This Video

Pumpkin Spice Latte season is among us, and yes—I’m one of those people who waits all year for it. But since our dogs can’t take licks of our PSLs (there are ingredients in there that aren’t good for them), I made a super simple dog-safe version instead: a cute little pumpkin latte for dogs. In this video, I walk you through an easy “doggy drink” that’s festive, Instagram-worthy, and focused on digestion-friendly ingredients. This recipe only uses two main ingredients: goat’s milk and 100% pure pumpkin puree. I use 1/2 cup goat’s milk (you can use raw goat’s milk if you already buy it, but I really like The Honest Kitchen’s instant goat’s milk powder) and 1/4 cup pumpkin puree—just make sure it’s pure pumpkin and not pumpkin pie filling. I blend it, pour it into a bowl or little cappuccino cups, and then (optionally) top with a tiny bit of whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon. I also share important safety notes like avoiding xylitol in whipped cream, never using pumpkin pie spice, and absolutely not adding coffee or caffeine.
