You'll Need: - 2 Pieces of Fleece Fabric (To figure out the exact amount, first, choose a bed size. While it doesn’t have to be exact, you can use the chart in my video as a guide. Then, for your fabric, add an additional 12″ both horizontally and vertically.) - Something soft for the center* (Some good options include a solid piece of poly foam, memory foam, or even an old pillow.) - Fabric Scissors - Measuring Tape/Ruler For The Full Written Directions, Visit: https://www.prouddogmom.com/diy-no-sew-dog-bed For even more dog treat recipes, canine care tips, puppy training advice, and much more, visit: Website: https://www.ProudDogMom.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/ProudDogMomBlog Pinterest: https://www.pinterest.com/prouddogmomblog Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/prouddogmom

About This Video

If your pup is anything like mine and lives for afternoon naps in the coziest spot possible, this DIY no-sew dog bed is going to be your new favorite project. In this video, I show you exactly how I make an easy, cheap, and super fun fleece dog bed—no sewing required. I use two pieces of fleece (I went with gray and a dog print because my house is basically 50 shades of gray), fabric scissors, a measuring tape, and a comfy center like poly foam, memory foam, or even an old pillow. I also share a big safety tip that I don’t see talked about enough: I personally don’t recommend loose stuffing (like the kind used in stuffed animals). Since this bed is tied off around the edges, it can leave tiny gaps, and that fluff can poke out—aka a tempting “dig and eat” situation for a lot of dogs, which can turn into a choking hazard. I’ll walk you through sizing (add about 12 inches to your bed measurements so you have roughly 6 inches on each side to tie), cutting strips about 1–1.5 inches thick, and my favorite corner trick (I don’t cut corners off—I make a corner strip instead). Then you just double-knot everything, set it in your pup’s favorite hangout spot, and let the lounging commence.
