In this raw, unedited video, I take you behind the scenes at Paragon Ridge Ranch and Paragon Hatchery to show you the non-stop work, extreme weather challenges, and emotional highs and lows of this season. 🌧️ From weeks of relentless rain in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area to sudden 95+ degree heat waves, the weather has thrown everything at us. Our hatcher is overheating, our coop runs are a muddy mess, and we’ve faced heartbreaking chicken losses from storms. But still, the work goes on. 🐣 We package and ship hatching egg orders daily through UPS for our amazing hatchery customers. 🏗️ Jeremy is transforming our Ultimate Chicken Coop runs with sand raised above surface level to fight off storm runoff and flooding. 🐥 We're raising hundreds of grow-out chicks in the barn, expanding outdoor coops to move them soon. These chicks will be sold locally once sexed and grown. 🐷 I take a moment of peace in the paddock with the new piglets, our sheep, and Highland cattle, sharing the beauty that keeps us going. Despite the chaos, the blessings of the farm life always bring us back to center.
