That’s the moment I said, “I think we should probably get in the shelter,” and we hustled everyone—kids and dogs—into the storm shelter with water, pillows, lights, and a fan. With no Wi‑Fi and barely any phone reception, it got real quiet and real still, and that’s the part I hate the most. The next morning brought the hard reality: damage in our area and heartbreaking loss in Beggs.
