I’m Jeremy and Chrissy here from Paragon Ridge Ranch, and this video is us finally sitting down and telling you where we’ve been and why we’ve been quiet. The honest truth is my mom passed away, and it’s been extremely difficult. When you’re hurting like that, it’s hard to pick up a camera and pretend everything’s fine—because it shows, and nobody wants to watch us forcing “happy” when we’re trying to get through grief, funeral decisions, and all the heavy stuff that comes with it. We also talk about how this season has looked on the ranch while we’ve been off YouTube—hunting season, the way being in the woods clears my head, and how I ended up harvesting a buck that felt like a blessing in the middle of all of it. Chrissy’s been filming little bits here and there, and we’re working our way back, but we need help getting our “umph” back and climbing out of that Groundhog Day funk. On the ranch side, the animals are doing great: Izzy and baby cow love this weather, the sheep are bred (babies should be coming soon), Evelyn surprised us with a baby, and Preston’s horses are becoming a bigger part of our day-to-day. We also share quick updates on the Ultimate Coop doing awesome (no condensation), and how Paragon Hatchery has become a massive part of our everyday work.
