Hey friends, it’s Chrissy from Paragon Ridge Ranch, and I owe you an update! ❤️ It’s been two long weeks since my last upload, and today I’m taking you behind the scenes to show you why life has been so crazy busy here at Paragon Hatchery. From packing and shipping hatching eggs, answering orders and messages, to feeding, watering, cleaning, and incubating chicks, I’ve been doing it all by myself. With Jeremy away caring for his mother (who has since passed away—we’ll talk about that in another video 💔), the hatchery and ranch have kept me running from dawn till dusk. In this video, I’m showing the nonstop daily chores, what it’s really like running a micro poultry hatchery solo, and how much work goes into keeping everything alive and thriving. I need your help more than ever — please watch this full video, and if you can, watch 2–3 other videos on my channel this week to help keep Paragon Ridge Ranch growing and alive on YouTube. About This Video

I went quiet for two weeks, and I owed y’all the real behind-the-scenes of what’s been happening at Paragon Ridge Ranch and Paragon Hatchery. The hatchery has been picking up hard—orders, growouts, hatching eggs, pre-orders, and constant customer messages—and when Jeremy was away helping with his mom (we lost her last week), I was running the whole place by myself. I’m not complaining, but I want you to see what “solo micro hatchery” actually looks like: meeting customers for growout pullets, weighing/candling/checking eggs, packing orders the meticulous way I do it (five boxes took me three hours), then UPS drop-off, then incubator lockdown day, and then the animal chores that still take about three hours. In this video I’m basically taking you through a full, bouncy-gravel-road kind of day—dark headlamp egg collecting, moving growouts into new pens, checking fertility issues (like my lavender Americanas—none fertile, so they may be gone), and wrapping up ranch duty while the boys are on fall break at the beach fishing. The takeaway is simple: there are highs and lows in this business, and the “background stuff” eats the day alive. If you want to help us keep growing on YouTube, go watch 2–3 more videos this week—seriously, it makes a difference.
