Guess what…we went LIVE, and y’all got to witness a real Paragon Ridge Ranch moment right out of the gate—tech gremlins and all. We had to restart because folks were yelling “NO SOUND,” and I’m over here trying to figure out why my MacBook mic wasn’t set to “default.” Once we got it fixed, we just settled in, laughed a lot, and did what we do best: hang out with y’all like family, totally unscheduled, totally pop-up style. We don’t do the “every Tuesday at 7:56pm” thing—if we go live, it’s because we felt like it. We talked Christmas, how we try to choose joy (Pandora Christmas station and decorations way before Thanksgiving), and we celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary and 30 years since we started dating. We also caught up on real-life ranch stuff—being busy, getting worn out, and still pushing forward because we need happiness and encouragement just like anybody else. We answered questions about future chicken breeds I’ve got “cooking,” gave an animal update (including why Winston and Sausage Nugget aren’t here anymore), and even got into Oklahoma tornado talk—yes, I still freak out, but I’d rather not have those close calls. It was one of those lives that’s messy, honest, funny, and very much us.
