Working from the beach for a week

This is the launch video for a new series covering overloading and camping off-grid while still maintaining a full time job. This video is designed around showing how I go about that as well as giving you some specific info on Cape Lookout National Seashore, NC. I spend 6 days feet away from the ocean, weather two nights of storms, and manage to still put in a 40 hour week. My sense of adventure just could not wait for retirement. I work as a remote manager in a 9-5 job as I travel around on my adventures. Adding overlanding and camping to my job has made it unbelievably enjoyable. It has its challenges (cell signal/lack of showers/heat/cold), but the benefits far outweigh the challenges. I never had enough vacation time to travel as much as I wanted and get to the off-grid locations that make work an adventure. Where Van life stops Veep life starts. Being able to work in remote locations allows travel to destinations to be eliminated. When the destination is just feet away every lunch break becomes a new adventure. Check out the beginners guide to this type of travel: @ Head to the blog tab and you will find it. My name is Brian and I have been traveling most of my adult life for work. When I started working from home, I quickly became stir crazy operating out of my home office /spare bedroom and longed for continued travel. That is how a love of the outdoors and travel grew into trips for truly remote work. I also want to teach my daughter Hana how to run her own business one day and have a way to share our love of the outdoors. We don't expect to get rich off this monetarily, but the time we share together learning how to be YouTubers is priceless. The end goal is to spend quality time as a father daughter duo while we share our off-road adventures, lessons learned, gear used, and best practices for overlanding while working remotely. Hopefully we can offer some entertainment and helpful information along the way. We are just starting out, so please subscribe if the topics interest you. If you have any questions about something in a particular video, please let us know. We are just starting out and it is not always easy to figure out what people want to know or see the most.
