Virginia Free Camping Pines Campground and Peaceful Valley

Turns out I never released this from last year. The campground usually opens in April, so getting it out now. We stayed at the Pines Campground and did a brief video on our experience. It was a good free campground with vault toilets. It is also located close to several forest roads and right by Potts MTN Jeep Trail for the off-road enthusiasts. It would make a great base camp if you are not staying on the trail overnight. No Verizon service here, so will not be an option for work camping for me. No worries though since there is a good spot on Potts that I can set up camp at. It is seasonal, so check to see if it is open on the USFS website (link below).
