Jeep JT Gladiator Sport Off Road Build No Lockers

How I converted my Jeep Gladiator Sport into an off-road machine. Nothing sponsored...just what I bought to get it ready for the trail. By the way I never did add lockers and it is still very capable. I don't claim perfection, but it suites my needs. About This Video

In this "Meet Mad Max" episode, I walk you through the off-road mods I’ve done to my 2020 Jeep Gladiator Sport—front to back—to turn a base-model Sport into a trail-capable rig without adding lockers. Nothing in here is sponsored; it’s just what I actually bought, installed, and beat on out on the trail. I don’t claim perfection, but this setup suits my needs and has proven itself with real use. Up front I cover my aluminum Rampage bumper (super cheap) and the Smittybilt X2O winch that’s served me well, plus the recovery points and my flip-up front plate so I can stay street legal in Virginia. I also show the Teraflex front sway bar quick disconnect—honestly one of my most-used mods if you don’t have the factory disconnect. From there it’s suspension and tires: a Clayton Overland Plus 2.5" lift with heavy-duty springs (because Mad Max is heavy in the rear), Teraflex Falcon 3.1 non-adjustable shocks (I’m too lazy to adjust shocks), and Kenda Klever RT 35s that are aggressive but still quiet on-road. I also get into the protection and reliability mods that matter when you’re out remote: Rockard Patriot rock rails, an Artec full belly skid system (great idea, painful install), a Motobilt Crusher rear bumper with excellent quarter protection, an ARB twin compressor under the seat, and a RockJock AntiRock rear sway bar after my previous setup didn’t hold up. I finish with my full LED lighting conversion and invite questions if I missed anything.
