After a short stop to shower and do laundry, we escape civilization and highway noise at a campground to venture into the back trails of the Daniel Boone National Forest. Our adventure takes us to remote trails and amazing stream crossings, but the quest for a camping area is cut short by a trail washout. The lack of planning takes its toll and things take an unexpected turn.
