This hand operated water pump project provides an affordable way to have access to water. I keep this in the back of my truck bed open to the elements and want to leave it out in the weather while out on trips. Tools used were: drill with stepper bit, razor blade, and teflon tape. I was able to get this done in about an hour. I have not tested this pump extensively yet, but wanted to share the idea in case anyone else is looking to make a manual option and save some money. I spent less than $20 for supplies since I already had the water jug and tubing. Please see the Amazon links below if you are interested in purchasing.
