Adding a hinge to my DIY 60% seat delete was the best thing I ever did. My original 60% delete was working as an awesome place for my quickly growing dog Zues. It also provided much needed extra storage below the platform and it was one of the most affordable modifications that I have made. The only downside was that it lacked the ability to easily access the storage area. That lead me to start looking at the mainstream options out there. Holy cow they are pricy! As an experiment I decided to take a circular saw to my platform and install some door hinges in hopes that it would give me access without added expense. It worked like a charm and I wanted to get the 2.0 version out there for anyone else having the same issue. Total cost to build was still under $100 and crazy below the purchase options out there. Sorry this is not a build video to give you the step by step through things. I learned it from @GatorOverland and he did it way better than I ever could. I want to give a big shout out to @GatorOverland for the original inspiration. Great step by step build video.
