In this Mountaintop 60L Internal Frame Backpack review, we find out whether it's any good. Full review: https://hikemuch.com/mountaintop-60l-review/ I've been using and testing the Mountaintop 60L internal frame backpack for a few months now, and in total, I've hiked about 40 miles or 60 kilometers with this backpack. Although I'm reviewing the mountaintop 60-liter version, this video will also be useful to you if you're thinking about getting the Mountaintop 50l, 55l, 65l, 70l, or 80l internal frame backpacks. They do have some minor differences, like a few extra pockets and straps here and there, but they're essentially the same model, just in a different size. I like that the Mountaintop 60-liter internal frame backpack is so light, weighing at just 4 lbs or 1.8 kg. Another thing that I really enjoy is the huge exterior pocket in the middle, which I use quite often. Although it's not the most comfortable pack on the market, it's not too bad either, especially given how affordable it is. And lastly, I like that it comes with a built-in rain cover and personally, I think that it's a very good-looking pack. But as much as I want to like the Mountaintop Internal frame backpack, it does have a lot of flaws. When the backpack is half-empty, the top lid slides too far off to the back, which results in a gap between the lid and the internal frame. Another issue is that this backpack won't be the best for carrying heavy loads, because it's hard to get it to balance most of the weight on the hips instead of shoulders. And lastly, the two pockets on the hip belt are very hard to use, because they're too far back, and the shoulder straps get in front of them and reduce the total size of the pocket to about two-thirds. ▼ TABLE OF CONTENTS 00:00 - Beginning 01:03 - Weight, Dimensions & Capacity 01:42 - Fabric, Seams, & Zippers 03:37 - Straps, Buckles, & Zippers 04:05 - Internal Frame & Structure 04:51 - Comfort 07:03 - Pockets & Storage Options 09:08 - Brand Reliability & Warranty 09:33 - Final Verdict ▼ GEAR TESTED IN VIDEO (affiliate links) Mountaintop 60l internal frame backpack on Amazon ➜ (Amazon: https://amzn.to/3b2rVLl) ▼ MY FULL GEAR LIST (affiliate links) Silverlight socks ➜ (Silverlight: https://alnk.to/4BECIUi) (15% discount code: hikemuch15) Osprey Talon 44 backpack (new model) ➜ (Amazon: https://amzn.to/3pZUZHK) Black Diamond Distance FLZ trekking poles ➜ (Amazon: https://amzn.to/3xkFazq) Water filter ➜ (Amazon: https://amzn.to/3riXlDf) Cicerone guidebook ➜ 54(https://www.cicerone.co.uk/the-gr11-trail-sixth) Set of 3 dry sacks ➜ (Amazon: https://amzn.to/3bTlwBB) Tent ➜ (Rei.com: https://www.rei.com/product/168564/rei-co-op-flash-air-1-tent) Camping pillow ➜ (Amazon: https://amzn.to/2MzzUWT) Decathlon Microfiber towel ➜ (Decathlon: https://www.decathlon.com/products/ultra-compact-microfiber-towel-size-m-26-x-35-158324) Sleeping pad ➜ (Rei.com: https://www.rei.com/product/157892/rei-co-op-flash-thermal-sleeping-pad) Cooking pot ➜ (Amazon: https://amzn.to/2NRcywv) Spork ➜ (Amazon: https://amzn.to/3b2moVk) Silicone camping cup ➜ (Amazon: https://amzn.to/37YIOoq) Cooking stove ➜ (Amazon: https://amzn.to/37W4SzS) Power bank ➜ (Amazon: https://amzn.to/3gmqRER) Headlamp ➜ (Amazon: https://amzn.to/37X41iH) Camera ➜ (Amazon: https://amzn.to/3r8OALH) Lense ➜ (Amazon: https://amzn.to/301mCWh) ND filter ➜ (Amazon: https://amzn.to/3q5GrX1) Camera mounted microphone ➜ (Amazon: https://amzn.to/3r7Yyge) GoPro Hero 7 ➜ (Amazon: https://amzn.to/3dXVpvO) Peak designs capture clip ➜ (Amazon: https://amzn.to/3dVRQq7) Fanny pack for my camera gear ➜ (Amazon: https://amzn.to/37UJfA4) Sunglasses ➜ (https://vallon.store/collections/shop-all/products/waylons-mirror) Sea to Summit trowel ➜ (Amazon: https://amzn.to/3iHAMGB) Gear Air repair kit ➜ (Amazon: https://amzn.to/3pXnnfq) Swiss Army Knife ➜ (Amazon: https://amzn.to/2MAHrVr) Decathlon Down Jacket Trek 100 ➜ (Decathlon: https://www.decathlon.com/products/mens-mountain-backpacking-down-jacket-trek500) Marmot PreCip rain jacket ➜ (Amazon: https://amzn.to/3gqiBE3) North Face beanie ➜ (Amazon: https://amzn.to/3zqR7pd) Decathlon Evadict Mt2 ➜ (Decathlon: https://www.decathlon.com/products/mens-trail-running-shoes-mt2-300547) ▼ FOLLOW ME ON SOCIAL MEDIA https://www.instagram.com/oscarbrumelis/ https://www.tiktok.com/@oscarhikes ▼ AFFILIATE DISCLOSURE In some of our videos and articles, we sometimes use affiliate links.
