In this video, I share my thoughts on the ZenBivy sleep system. I've been testing it for a while now, and I do agree the it is a really comfortable and luxurious sleep system. In fact, it's the most comfortable outdoor sleep system that I've slept in. However, ZenBivby comes at a rather high price, especially here in Europe. And it also weighs more than most other alternatives, so it's definitely not for everyone. ▼ THRU-HIKING POSTERS (MADE BY ME & MY GF) Shop hiking trail posters here ➜ https://trailgoals.com/ (10% discount code: oscarhikes) Instagram ➜ https://www.instagram.com/trail.goals/ ▼ ZENBIVY SLEEP SYSTEM USED IN THE VIDEO Zenbivy Light Quilt -12C Convertible ➜ (Zenbivy Europe: https://zenbivy.eu/en/products/light-quilt-12-c?variant=48148711014681) Zenbivy Light Sheet -12C ➜ (Zenbivy Europe: https://zenbivy.eu/en/products/light-sheet-12-c?variant=48148711309593) Zenbivy Ultralight Mattress ➜ (Zenbivy Europe: https://zenbivy.eu/en/products/ultralight-mattress?variant=47879122747673) Zenbivy SoftTop Pillow ➜ (Zenbivy Europe: https://zenbivy.eu/en/pages/pillows) ▼ OTHER GEAR USED IN THE VIDEO (affiliate links) Outdoor Vitals Stormloft 0F Quilt ➜ (Outdoor Vitals: https://www.avantlink.com/click.php?tool_type=cl&merchant_id=7e589116-9b06-4f1d-beee-aa18820b0454&website_id=00f5b60f-5b24-479f-ab2d-8d5328a2ac5a&url=https%3A%2F%2Foutdoorvitals.com%2Fproducts%2Fupdate-stormloft-0-30-f-down-topquilt-sleeping-bag) Nemo Tensor Insulated Sleeping Pad ➜ (Amazon: https://amzn.to/3RJhVw9 ) Decathlon Forclaz MT100 Pillow ➜ (Decathlon: https://www.decathlon.com/products/forclaz-inflatable-hiking-pillow-311258?variant=40698140721214) Outdoor Vitals Fortius 2P Ultralight Tent ➜ (Outdoor Vitals: https://www.avantlink.com/click.php?tool_type=cl&merchant_id=7e589116-9b06-4f1d-beee-aa18820b0454&website_id=00f5b60f-5b24-479f-ab2d-8d5328a2ac5a&url=https%3A%2F%2Foutdoorvitals.com%2Fproducts%2Ffortius-2p-trekking-pole-backpacking-tent) ▼ TABLE OF CONTENTS 00:00 - Intro 01:00 - Negatives 03:27 - Positives 07:48 - Final Verdict ▼ FOLLOW ME ON SOCIAL MEDIA https://www.instagram.com/oscarbrumelis/ https://www.tiktok.com/@oscarhikes ▼ AFFILIATE DISCLOSURE In some of our videos, I sometimes use affiliate links. About This Video

If you’ve watched any hiking gear videos lately, you’ve probably heard “ZenBivy, ZenBivy, ZenBivy…”—so I wanted to figure out if it actually deserves the hype. In this video I break down my real trail experience after about five nights with the ZenBivy Light Bed setup: the Light Quilt -12C Convertible, the -12C sheet, their new Ultralight Mattress, and the SoftTop Pillow. ZenBivy sent it to me for free, but they’re not paying me, and I’m saying exactly what I think. I start with the downsides because they matter: it’s expensive (especially in Europe), it’s heavier than my comparable ultralight setup, and the whole clip-and-strap system takes a minute to learn—especially in the dark. I also don’t love the hood creeping over my eyes, the too-small pump-sack bag, and the pad valve that feels a bit sketchy. But here’s the thing: comfort-wise, it’s genuinely the most comfortable outdoor sleep system I’ve ever slept in. It’s not constrictive like a sleeping bag, it kills drafts really well, the foot end vents nicely from “toasty bag mode” to “blanket mode,” and the pillow setup stays put. My conclusion is a bit controversial: yes, ZenBivy is overhyped as “the best for everyone,” but if you struggle to sleep outdoors—or you prioritize cozy warmth on shorter or winter trips—it’s absolutely worth trying.
