In terms of mileage, I've hiked about 50 miles or 80 kilometers with this backpack while I was doing a three-day wilderness backpacking trip. Because the Teton 4000 is built from very thick and durable materials, it's pretty heavy. In total, it weighs 2.3 kg or 5.1 lbs. For a 65 liter backpack, that's pretty much. In general, it's mostly built for wilderness backpacking instead of long-distance ultralight hiking. So far, I like a lot of things about this backpack. It's very comfortable to wear, especially on the hips, it's got a ton of different pockets, straps, and clips for attaching various items on the exterior. Also, it's very water-resistant and comes with a built-in rain cover. The only thing that I don't like about the Teton 4000 backpack, is that the bottom zipper for the sleeping bag compartment is very tough to open because the fabric gets stuck in the zipper. Other than that, I'm not a big fan of all the loose straps, and this backpack makes an annoying sound when it's packed full because of the fabrics rubbing against each other.
