Crossing the Khunjerab Pass in Pakistan || Riding from Sydney to London - EP 18

The last part of our Pakistan adventure before we head to China - We just have to get to the famous Khunjerab Pass first. This is just a small part of our around the world motorcycle trip that we started in December 2018 in Sydney, Australia and heading to London UK. Be sure to check out our other videos to see the Journey so far. In this ep we pick it up right where we left off in Episode 17 - Leaving Passu. Our aim is the Chinese border, and we only have 5 days to get there, but we have a few destinations we need to check out along the way. So we press on along the Karakoram Highway heading even further north. We start with the dry and rugged landscape of Shimshal Valley. Riding roads that on one side have a cliff edge dropping a few hundred metres. Cooking dinner with limited supplies just to try save some money. We then head to Chapursan Valley we are met with ongoing generosity from the locals before we try our luck and head to Baba Ghundi, a shrine on the Afghan border. It's now time to get ready for our China crossing. We use Sozt as a base as we prep our Suzuki DR650s. We have heard nightmare stories of the border crossing, so want to make sure we have everything in check. We only have 1 small item that we have to try smuggle across, so we pull our motorbikes apart and shove it in the airbox. risky times ahead.
