We had just a few days to cross one of the strictest countries on earth… or risk getting stuck there. Turkmenistan isn’t like anywhere else. Strict rules, constant surveillance, almost no internet — and very little information on what actually happens if things go wrong. We entered the country on our Suzuki DR650 motorcycles with a fixed timeframe. No flexibility. No room for delays. If one of the bikes failed… If we took the wrong route… If we didn’t make the border in time… We could be in serious trouble. We didn’t really know what to expect. It’s one of the hardest countries to research. And once we were in — there was no turning back. This is what it’s really like riding through Turkmenistan. --- 🌍 We’re riding from Sydney to London — crossing continents, remote regions, and countries most people will never see. 👍 Subscribe if you’re into raw, real adventure travel — no fluff, no shortcuts. --- 📍 In this episode: - Crossing Turkmenistan under strict time limits - Camping at the Dervasa Gas Crater - Also known as The Doors to Hell - Remote desert highways - Strange rules and unexpected challenges - Ashgabat — one of the most surreal cities on earth --- 🎥 Gear we use: Main Camera - Sony A7Siii James's Helmet Cam - GoPro 7 Jay's Helmet Cam - Garmin Virb Ultra Drone - DJI Mavic Pro --- #MotorcycleAdventure #DR650 #SuzukiDR650 #Turkmenistan #AdventureTravel #RTW #Overland #OffGrid #ForbiddenPlaces
