About This Video

Hey y’all and welcome back to the channel—hey girl hey! In this video I’m showing you how I reset a client’s entire hair situation from the ground up. She came in ready to let the damage go after wearing a lot of wigs and honestly neglecting her natural hair for a while. The goal was simple: get her hair back on track, get it growing again, and get it back to a healthy state. So we did a full reset with a deep treatment, a precision trim, and then I silk pressed her down so we could really see what we were working with. While I’m pressing her hair out, I’m paying close attention to her density because her hair is on the finer side, and you can literally see those see-through areas. That’s why I’m always telling my clients: maintenance matters. If you’re not getting trims and treatments regularly—and you’re doing a lot of styles your hair type can’t handle—eventually it’s going to show. And when you’re ready to come back to your natural hair, you’ll be stuck fixing all that damage. The takeaway? If you want a true reset, the see-through ends have to go. Once we let it go, her hair looked so much healthier and so much better in the end.
