My client came in with multiple levels, patchy blonde, old color history, uneven tones, and some compromised areas. Instead of just “throwing color on it,” I corrected it properly while still prioritizing hair health, because luxury results come after. I’m showing you exactly why color correction takes time, strategy, and real hair knowledge. I broke this service down into five processes: bleach (dark levels/regrowth first, roots last so we don’t get hot roots), pre-tone to warm and even the canvas, filler to replace missing dominant pigment, target color application, and then a final gloss to balance everything out and bring back that shine. I also explain why I switch developers depending on the area (20 vol vs 10 vol) and why I’m obsessed with getting a clean, even canvas before I start building the final shade. The end result was a subtle, everyday red-brown that fit her perfectly—with a smooth, one-pass silk press finish, wrapped and under the dryer, period.
