About This Video

Hey babes—welcome back. In this video I’m taking a new client through a full cowboy copper transformation on her natural hair, from start to finish. She came in ready for something different and we landed on the perfect chestnut copper brown vibe. I walk you through why I chose to lighten first (yes, with bleach) so the copper would show up vibrant and not read too dark or muddy—because not every head of hair is going to pull those warm browns and coppers the same with color alone. I’m also showing y’all how I keep the hair healthy through the entire process. I go “low and slow,” because I’m not compromising anybody’s curl pattern just to get done faster. I talk about integrity, education, and why I stick to 10 or 20 volume most of the time, plus how I prep with K18 spray before chemical services. And of course we finish with a smooth silk press—because if you’re educated and you know what you’re doing, the hair is going to bounce back and revert every single time. The final result? Warm, shiny, breathtaking cowboy copper that’s literally giving everything it needs to give.
