About This Video

Hey girl hey! In this vlog I’m taking y’all through my whole Beyoncé week—like from the moment I was in that kitchen talking about “we got Starbucks at home” to me sitting at the laptop like it was a full-time job trying to secure Cowboy Carter tickets. I found out I had Beehive presale access (whole time, babe…I’m part of the Beehive) and I was responsible for getting tickets for all four of us. It was stressful, the waiting room was a hot mess, and options were looking real sad…until it was official: I got the tickets. Then we get into the real countdown: two days until Beyoncé and I’m in full maintenance mode. I got my nails slayed (cow print vibes, okay), faced my fear and got my first Brazilian wax at my big age (and it really wasn’t as bad as people make it), and did my concert hair prep. I took my braids down, talked about how tension and repetitive styling can literally take your hair out (because yes, I’m looking at my own middle part situation), and installed a thick, full quick weave with real raw hair. My big takeaway: don’t let other people’s fear (or their experience) stop you—try things for yourself, protect your leave-out for the heat, and get your whole look together because Beyoncé season is not the time to play.
