Hey girl hey! In this video I’m packing up the bags and taking y’all with me on a cozy little weekend getaway—me, my bae, and the pups (and yes… one of them was giving straight cat energy). We hit the road in my Tesla Model 3 for a 5-hour drive to Basye, Virginia, headed to this gorgeous A-frame cabin in the mountains. We did have traffic, and we made one charging stop when the car was down to 5%—so if you’ve ever wondered what a Tesla road trip looks like in real life, you’re seeing it. Once we finally made it to The Shack, I gave you a look at how beautiful the place was, and we got outside to enjoy the nature—Lake Laura, trails, deer sightings, and me being real about my “what was that noise?!” fear in the woods. Later, I changed into my PJs, we grabbed pizza from a local brewery, and planned out the cozy night vibes like games, hot tub, and maybe s’mores. And of course, y’all know I had to get in the kitchen. I cooked my mom’s soup recipe—ground turkey, mixed veggies, potatoes, and tomato sauce—plus grilled cheeses on the side. Cozy cabin food just hits different, okay?
