Hey pearls! This week-in-my-life vlog is me doing regular, real-life things—Atlanta edition—with that “lady next door” vibe. It starts on a Friday when I’m extra happy because… it’s Friday. I had my cereal, got a nice long walk in, and then it was straight into beauty day because I had to do something with this fine, chemical-free hair. I’m talking pre-poo, wash day prep, and the little grooming realities too—like waxing my chin—because if you’re taking a good quality hair vitamin, listen… hair grows everywhere. I also took y’all shopping because my husband reminded me we needed shades of green for church, and I had green pullovers but nothing church-appropriate. I hit Kohl’s (and had TJ Maxx and Macy’s as backup), and I ended up keeping it simple with a beautiful green blouse from JCPenney paired with a pencil skirt and jacket—mission accomplished. I shared our Friday night dinner (Sam’s meat with naan + tzatziki from Publix), plus a quick fine-hair update: this was day five hair and I actually had to retwist my front section after getting caught in misting rain. I used Nature’s Little Secret Irish Moss Styling Cream on dry hair, and it kept the definition and kept the itches away. Then I showed some deliveries—an Amazon African attire dress for church, a new (hopefully quiet) hooded dryer, and my Valentine’s surprise: a MacBook Pro.
