I was super gung-ho about getting my trim done in the first quarter, and I made it just under my own deadline on March 25th. My personal goal is a trim once a quarter (four times a year), and for my fine strands, that schedule helps me stay ahead of fragile ends and split ends. I wear flat twist outs often, and even though they’re low manipulation, I’m twisting down to the ends—so my ends can take the most wear.
