In this Try It Out Tuesday, I’m testing the NEW NYX Buttermelt Glaze Soft Glow Skin Tint because the weather is warming up and I want my makeup to look nice without my face feeling heavy. When I saw “buttermelt,” “soft glow,” and “skin tint” all together, I was like… NYX, say less. I go over the claims (lightweight, buttery smooth texture, buildable coverage, soft glow finish, comfortable all-day wear), show the packaging, and share the shade I chose: 07 Toffee Butter. For application, I put it on bare skin—no moisturizer and no primer—so we can really see what the product does on its own. I blend one side with a beauty sponge and the other side with a brush, then I wear it for many hours to see how it holds up. My big takeaways: it blends like a dream, feels like I have nothing on (almost like moisturizer), and the wear is absolutely delightful. I also checked transfer, and with the thin layer I used, there was basically no transfer—plus I still had that natural, “my skin but smoother” look where my birthmark still showed through.
