Wash Day | Silk Elements LUXURY Shampoo and Conditioner | Product Review

Hi ladies! I purchased the Silk Elements LUXURY Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner from Sally Beauty. The word LUXURY is why I decided to pick these up. The shampoo and conditioner claim to help rehydrate, repair and revive dry, damaged hair. Anybody can use these products, whether you have relaxed or natural hair. I sincerely APOLOGIZE for the missing audio beginning in the middle of the video. I worked hard to troubleshoot to no avail, and even recorded a voiceover to lay on top on the video and it STILL didn't work. I uploaded this video 3x and there is still a bigger issue I don't understand. I've never experienced anything like this on my YouTube channel before. Here's what I wanted you to know about the Silk Elements LUXURY Shampoo and Conditioner: Both products claim to help detangle and improve elasticity to reveal softer, healthier looking hair. I don't know about the elasticity, but the shampoo DEFINITELY did not help with the detangling for MY hair. The Sally website says it can be used weekly as a clarifying shampoo -- hence the squeaky feeling on my hair. I was a little confused b/c it's supposed to be a moisturizing shampoo. In walks the MOISTURIZING conditioner. I will say, it did help detangle my hair just a little, but it took longer than the recommended 2-3 minutes. It took me about 10-15 minutes to detangle and apply to my whole head. Then I let it sit on for about 15-20 mins. I don't know if I'll go so far as to say it revived and repaired my hair, BUT my hair felt soft and hydrated after I rinsed the conditioner. I was pleasantly surprised at how my hair felt. Would I recommend these? Sure, they're not bad at all. But if you don't like that stripped feel in your hair you might want to skip the shampoo. The ingredient I thought was a sulfate (and still might be a sulfate for all I know) is SODIUM C14-16 OLEFIN SOLFONATE. I'll definitely use this shampoo when I'm wearing my hair straightened and need a good clarifying shampoo. The conditioner put the moisture back in my hair. Whatever moisture the shampoo might've taken, the conditioner DOES revive it. Great value?
