Hey pearls! In this video I’m continuing my cream styler playlist and revisiting a product I had tucked way back in my stash: Nature’s Little Secret Irish Moss Styling Cream. The big difference with this one is you can’t grab it in Walmart, Sally, or the beauty supply—it’s online only right now. I’m testing it on my fine, chemical-free natural hair using my signature style: a flat twist out. My goal is always the same for a twist out—definition, shine, and a soft hold without weighing my hair down. As I applied it, I immediately noticed how creamy it is (but not too thick), and the slip was excellent—my fingers literally glided through my hair while I worked the product into the roots and tips. After drying, my hair felt incredibly soft, which had me side-eyeing the hold. The jar claims light-to-medium hold, but on my fine hair it wore more like a light hold. The definition is pretty and there’s no residue, but if you need longer-lasting hold, I’d personally pair this with a gel. Still, I’d rather have soft hair than crunchy hair—so this one has a place, depending on the finish you’re going for.
