Hi Pearls! On this was day I'm styling with The DOUX Bee Girl Honey Curl Custard. A curly hair custard is regarded as being more hydrating and nourishing than a gel but may not provide a strong hold like a gel,. However, it is a preferred option because it won't dry out your curls. I have fine, chemical-free hair. Chemical free means no relaxer...no color...no nothing. :) I mainly wear my fine, natural hair in TWIST OUT styles. For me, twist outs are a protective style that have allowed me to retain length while enjoying wearing my hair 'out.' I also love for my fine natural hair to have lots of bounce, curls and volume! 🔎Hashtags: #naturalhair #thedoux #over50 #naturallycorporate ***Thank you for watching this video, click the "SUBSCRIBE" button to stay connected with this channel. About This Video

Well, hello my pearls—on this wash day I shopped my stash and revisited a styler I hadn’t used in a long time: The DOUX Bee Girl Honey Curl Custard. I started with my SheaMoisture Raw Shea Butter Deep Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner, then followed up with the Strengthen & Restore Treatment Mask because that combo makes my fine, chemical-free hair feel so clean and so soft. Since we’re in the throes of wash-and-go season (and now that I know what I’m doing), I wanted to see if Bee Girl would give me the same shine and definition I loved in my old twist-out videos. Let me tell you—this custard is thick, thick. The website says apply to soaking wet hair, and I’m saying trust them, because it barely moves and it can get gooey fast. There’s not much slip, so I had to make sure my hair was drenched, detangled, and I spent extra time raking it through to get definition across my multiple textures. After drying under my hooded dryer, the hold was firm and my hair felt hard, so I used a little oil to scrunch out the crunch. The final look had lots of shine, body, and beautiful curl definition—but my main con is still that heavy, thick consistency, to the point where I’m questioning if my jar got thicker over time.
