Hi my pearls—I’m back! In this little car vlog, I’m catching you up on where I’ve been (I took a couple weeks off social media… and that turned into a few more), and I’m easing back into the groove. Today I’m rocking a bun, but I’m also planning a roller set video because I love roller sets on my fine, chemical-free hair—the curls, the bounce, and yes… the intentional hair sling when somebody calls my name. I also wanted to share some real Black Friday money-saving hacks for natural hair products. Black Friday was about two weeks away when I filmed this, and those pre-Black Friday sales were already tempting me—but I’m choosing to wait because the discounts may get deeper closer to Thanksgiving. The biggest takeaway: make a list and shop with intention, especially with prices rising everywhere. For in-person deals, I’m telling you not to sleep on TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Burlington (and sometimes Ross) because their beauty sections can be stocked with quality shampoos, conditioners, leave-ins, and even tools—often for way less than full price. And before I go, I share a little find for my fellow glasses-wearers: Belladora shades that fit right over my glasses. Cute, practical, and I grabbed two pairs with a buy-one-get-one deal.
