In this video I’m doing a full review of the Englemaan Wraith UTC (yeah, I’m still not 100% sure how to spell the brand name properly), and I bought the eco packaging because I really don’t need more boxes collecting dust in my cupboard. Price is around USD250, and shipping to Malaysia took about one to two weeks from China. For the money, the whole point here is simple: this is a fully loaded “Sinn-style” quick fix, basically an homage to the Sinn 856 UTC that costs around USD3,000. Spec-wise you’re getting a 40.2mm case, 13.8mm thickness (so yes, a bit thick), 48mm lug-to-lug, 20mm lug width, and an NH34 GMT movement. The case/bracelet is bead-blasted with a scratch-resistant coating (they claim 1,000 HV), plus anti-magnetic protection (claimed 80,000 A/m). I also talk about why I prefer underside AR only—top-side AR scratches can look absolutely hideous (I’ve been there with my Sinn 556). And the lume is insane: ceramic bezel insert with fully lumed markings, green-printed indices, even a green lumed date wheel. I compare it with my Militado ML20 (cheaper, PT5000 option, but fewer “specs”), and I show it on wrist plus three strap setups—leather (yes, I do that on dive watches), a single-pass strap, and a thick FKM rubber strap for a more “dive-ready” feel.
