In this video I’m back with the full review of the WatchDives WD50Ti, the titanium “50 Fathoms” style diver that I’ve been wearing for about two months. I originally tried to buy the stainless steel version twice, but both orders never even made it out from China to Malaysia, so when this titanium one popped up during the big sales, I just snatched it. I go through the real-world wear, the sizing (40mm, 48.3mm lug-to-lug, 20mm lug width) and why it sits really nicely on my skinny 6.75 inch wrist. I talk about what WatchDives got right: titanium case and bezel, a very dark grey dial (not true black), good contrast on the hands, NH35 reliability, and a ceramic bezel insert that’s fully loomed. I also point out the things I’m not fully happy with—like the busy tiny outer markings, the WatchDives logo (I don’t really like it, but I accepted it), and the bezel feel: 120 clicks with a bit too much backplay for the money. I compare it with my Militado ML20 as a “what else can you buy for around $170” option, then I do a quick lume check (both are strong BGW9) and finish with strap combos that actually work with this awkward dark-grey-not-black color.
