Alam and hello YouTube—this one is my full review of the Militado ML16, and honestly for the AliExpress 11-11 sales, it’s very hard to beat. Price should be around USD111–120 normally, but during 11-11 I’m pretty sure you can get it close to USD100, and for that money you’re getting the Seiko VH31. That VH31 gives you that smooth sweep seconds look like an automatic, but it’s still quartz—so it’s basically “set it once, screw down the crown, and forget it.” I go through the sizing and why this is such an easy wear for smaller wrists like mine (6.75 in / 17 cm): 39mm diameter, 10.4mm thickness, 45.6mm lug-to-lug, 20mm lug width. The finishing is a big surprise too—the bead blasted case and bezel is not the cheap, smudge-magnet type I’ve seen on some cheaper Militado pieces. You also get sapphire crystal (I don’t see blue AR on top, but I’m quite sure there’s AR underneath) and a claimed 200m water resistance. I also do a strap “fashion show” because this watch really changes character: the stock H-link is a bit loosey-goosey but acceptable, and I love it on a cheap sailcloth strap. Just note the spring bar hole placement is tight, so thick leather can get marked. Loom is awesome for the price, and if you want an automatic alternative I mention the Milifortic M096 (NH38), while Militado may release a PT5000 version later.
