In this Dolly Dreams episode, I’m doing a small (but super fun) box opening of an unexpected American Girl purchase I grabbed off Woot. Someone on one of my AG pages posted deals, and when I saw this set was over 50% off, I finally pulled the trigger. If you don’t know, Woot is owned by Amazon, so I just signed in with my Amazon account and checked out like normal. I’ve been keeping an eye on Woot now because you never know what overstock AG items might pop up. I opened the AG Sisters Sleepover set mainly because I wanted the mini fridge (I still wish I’d gotten the World By Us mini fridge before it sold out). I’m not an AG Sisters fan—I feel like they cheapen the line compared to WellieWishers, and I’m not into the heavy makeup look or the super plastic-y accessories. That said, the fridge itself is honestly adorable and functional, with little shelves and stickers, and the food pieces are cute for dollhouse setups. We get tic-tac-toe pieces, glittery plates, waffles, ice cream, and yes… chicken and waffles, which made me laugh. Even if it says “AG Sisters,” it’s going in my dollhouse—maybe the twins’ room for that ‘90s mini-fridge nostalgia.
