Seattle has always been one of my favorite layovers but this one felt different. After being off work for a month, I finally went back to flying, and my first trip took me straight to Seattle. In this vlog, I explore the Seattle Art Museum, visit the public market, and end the night at The Pink Door — one of the most romantic restaurants in the city. The next morning I walk through the Olympic Sculpture Park, stumble upon a marathon, and end the trip with a Whole Foods haul and a new outlook of one of my favorite cities. This vlog is fast-paced, cinematic, and filled with moments that reminded me why I love what I do. Something about Seattle just felt different this time and I can’t wait for you to see why. About This Video

I’m back in my uniform and back at work after being off for a month, and my first trip drops me right into one of my forever-favorite layovers: Seattle. But this time felt… different in a way I couldn’t totally name. I change out of my uniform, redo my makeup (because flying makeup just settles into every pore and makes me look tired), and head out for an “art day” at the Seattle Art Museum—because when in doubt, go to a museum. It’s quiet, dim, spacious, and honestly the exact opposite of an airplane. After a loud, cramped flight, a museum feels like therapy. I weave in a quick Pike Place stop (yes, I’ve been a million times), get talked into the prettiest Lucy Rose apples, and stock up on honey sticks like I always do. Later, I meet the crew for a rooftop moment and end the night at The Pink Door—one of the most romantic dinners in the city. The next morning is Olympic Sculpture Park, a coffee mission (plantain syrup caught my attention), a surprise marathon that turns into exposure therapy for filming in public, and a Whole Foods haul that somehow feels like a divine redirect. Seattle still has my heart—just with a new outlook this time.
