Welcome to my Ninh Binh, Vietnam vlog. I spent a full day exploring one of the most beautiful places in northern Vietnam, from the limestone mountains and quiet rice fields to some of the most iconic spots in the region. I visited Bich Dong Pagoda, explored the ancient capital of Hoa Lu, and took a boat tour through Trang An, surrounded by dramatic karst landscapes and hidden caves. I also made my way up Dragon Hill for panoramic views, stopped by Buffalo Cave, and rode through the countryside on the back of a Grab bike. After the chaos and intensity of Hanoi, Ninh Binh felt like a complete reset. Slower, quieter, and unexpectedly peaceful. About This Video

I made it to Ninh Binh (yes… I learned I’d been pronouncing it wrong) and it instantly felt like a full-body reset after the chaos of Hanoi. I’m staying at The Wooden Gate and got upgraded to a suite, which was funny because it came with bunk beds I absolutely did not need—but the property is gorgeous, quiet, and so humid and tropical in the best way. I was running on extreme exhaustion, so this vlog is very much me leaning into slower moments: a proper nap, an actual eight hours of sleep, Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk (diesel fuel, truly), and a morning of learning how to fly my drone like a kid on Christmas. For my full day out, I hit some of the most iconic Ninh Binh spots: Bich Dong Pagoda, the Hoa Lu area, and the Trang An river and cave boat tour—limestone mountains, rice fields, caves, and that “is this real?” feeling the entire time. I also stopped for coconut coffee (so rich and so worth it), grabbed snacks, and rode around on the back of a Grab bike because it’s fun, scenic, and wildly cheap. I wrapped it up with Dragon Hill views (plus a minor drone panic/crash moment), and honestly… leaving hurt. Ninh Binh was healing—nature everywhere, kind people everywhere, and the exact reminder I needed that slowing down can be its own kind of adventure.
