Come spend 20 hours with me in New York City on a beautiful Manhattan layover! As a flight attendant, I love when my schedule gives me a chance to explore the city, and this two-day NYC trip was just what I hoped for. I wandered around Greenwich Village, walked the High Line, sipped coffee from Jack’s Stir Brew, and soaked up the summer energy at Madison Square Park and Little Island. I also stopped by 7th Street Burger for a quick bite and found the coolest little Japanese market called Ten Ichi in Flatiron. Of course, no NYC vlog is complete without a proper New York bagel 🥯. These were long work days, but they were easy, fun, and totally worth it. If you’re into flight attendant life, New York vlogs, or just want to see how I spend a layover in the city, you’ll love this one. About This Video

This vlog is my first Manhattan layover in a month, and I honestly needed it. After a stretch of all-day trips and chaotic work weeks (weather, staffing, long days, zero routine), I finally get a two-day NYC layover and I’m so excited to be back—like, I miss New York in my bones. I take you with me from my “getting ready for work” chaos (including me forgetting my DJI SD card… so annoying) to landing at JFK and heading into the city. I spend my limited layover time doing what I love most in New York: walking, people-watching, and chasing that “center of the universe” feeling the city gives me. I talk about how I’ve been craving more authentic, simple spots lately (Anthony Bourdain is absolutely influencing me), so I’m not just hunting trendy places for the feed. I hit Flatiron, attempt Ten Ichi Mart (major lesson learned: go earlier than 8pm unless you want empty sushi shelves), and I’m very honest about the heat, the Times Square chaos, and my slow-walker pet peeve. The next morning is all about coffee, getting over my subway nerves (it ended up being totally fine), and my favorite NYC ritual: a proper bagel run. I wrap it up with a realistic flight attendant ending—four flights, an easy work day, and me already itching to go back to the city again.
