About This Video

Sometimes the festive season looks all glossy on Instagram… and sometimes it’s just me, my mates, and absolute chaos. In this video I’m sharing a bunch of my Christmas and New Year bloopers—those moments where I’m trying to film something “nice and calm” and then I’m immediately laughing, forgetting what I’m saying, or having to start the clip again because it’s all gone a bit wrong. There’s a lot of “bear with” energy, a lot of giggling, and a lot of me attempting to pull it back together. You’ll see the reality of filming at home too—like when Mr Pumpkin decides to jump up on his cat tree and sends my camera flying (yes, I was using his cat tower as a tripod… sorry mate). There’s drink tasting, interrupted stories, mispronounced champagne, kitchen mishaps (including a pan that’s so hot it’s basically cooking without the gas), and the general festive madness with friends. The takeaway is simple: don’t take it all too seriously—make do with what you’ve got, get creative on a budget, and remember that the “messy bits” are usually the best bits.
