It’s a proper London Sunday in this vlog: slow coffee in the loft room (which I’m officially keeping as the main bedroom), a quick mooch for homeware inspiration, and then straight into one of my favourite things—car boot sale browsing. I pop into Oliver Bonas first because they always have those uplifting little bits (and yes, I still don’t know if I’m saying it right). I end up grabbing the striped Shrimps collab mug from the sale because the colours are just gorgeous—those warm orange stripes with the darker glaze inside, very watercolour-y, and it was down to £7. Then it’s boot sale time, and honestly… one of my best homeware hauls to date. I find a St Ives candle for a quid, a set of weighty marble candlesticks that could easily double as bookends, a beautiful set of pink-and-clay mugs and a matching jug, plus a couple of incredible papier-mâché bowls in the most brilliant colours and texture. I also pick up a little easel for book events, an IKEA organiser for 50p, a very cool &K Amsterdam glass vase, and a boxed set of six water glasses for £3—because I’m all about actually using my glassware, not just keeping it “for best”. To finish, I head into Covent Garden to meet Helen for cocktails at Plume, then we’re off to the West End for the world premiere gala of the new musical Sea Witch. A proper varied vlog: thrifty finds, home refresh ideas, and a little theatre night out.
