Hi everyone, I’m back with my sorting my home out series, having given my loft bedroom a full spring refresh, transforming the space into a calm, cosy retreat with a soft green colour palette. With the balcony windows and en-suite, I’m loving this being the main bedroom now & it felt like the perfect time to refresh it. In todays vlog I have a full tour of the bedroom with a new bed, and simple styling to create a more peaceful, slow living space, and a trip to the boot sale where I found some lovely pieces! I hope this video gives you some ideas for refreshing your own space this spring 🌿 Hope you enjoy :) 🔗 Links • Loft Renovation Series: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL-xhfu32jNsUC-v9Bxm1I606HL1tJBjyK&si=9xCjcPMYOHt4sbdr • Patterned Paint Roller: https://www.thelittlewelshdresser.com/collections/the-painted-house-patterned-paint-rollers • Bed Frame: https://www.bensonsforbeds.co.uk/products/elle-emmeline-ottoman-bed-frame/S837200002/ • *Fireproof Document Holder: https://amzn.to/4bJZZva • *Harrods Shopper Bag: https://rstyle.me/+Xb7QhPVEJpc3oBVN2cqxHA #bedroommakeover #loftbedroom #mrcarrington #homedecor #bedroominspo

About This Video

Welcome back to another instalment of Sorting My Home Out — and this time I’m coming to you from what is now my loft bedroom. I’ve fully committed to sleeping up here and I honestly love it. I didn’t film the whole switch-around (I thought watching me dismantle a bed again might be a bit much), but I do give you a proper tour of the “new” loft bedroom: calm, cosy, and built around a soft green palette that I already had on the walls. The whole point was to refresh for spring without going mad — just being really mindful with what I bring in, keeping it minimal, and letting a few small bargain touches do the heavy lifting. The big upgrade is my new ottoman bed frame, which has completely changed the game for storage up here. I show you how it lifts, how I’m planning to organise it (seasonal bits, bags, even things like my tent at the far end), and why it feels like it’ll stay cleaner than a slatted base. I also unbox a patterned paint roller from a small Welsh business — I’m thinking of testing it in the en-suite first for a wallpaper-effect moment in the same green. And of course, we finish with a breezy car boot sale browse and my little haul: a vintage-style Harrods Christmas trinket box, a Space NK travel pouch, a Zara Home plate, and a pair of wooden carvings I’ve got plans for.
